Loaded and inexpensive, this best describes T-Mobiles phone offering. The T-Mobile Sidekick 3 just got better and boasts of a better camera, faster communication and enhanced 3G capabilities. Designed to target the hip and fashion inclined mobile phone market, the Sidekick 3 has shaped its own niche in the mobile phone industry.

This latest evolution from the T-Mobile Sidekick has made solid progress in improving on the things which made it hugely popular. The phone now comes with a much improved 1.3 Megapixel camera a far cry from its VGA roots. Bluetooth and EDGE technology has also enhanced connection capabilities. Other jumps include a better music player, Mini SD card slot and world phone support. The only drawback is its lackluster display which was left out with the other improvements. Slimmer and but slightly heavier than its predecessor, the phone has certainly shed most of those unwanted curves and but has become heavy with added features.

The Sidekick was designed for a particular group of people in mind. The phone caters to fashion and trend setters who use the phone as an expression of their fun loving nature. Features and functions rival those of its smartphone counterparts but the phone does not particularly excel in this form or nature.

Texting and messaging is at par or even better with other QWERTY or full keyboard phones. Keys and buttons are amply spaced and feedback is good when tapping the keypad. Sending emails was easy and trouble free with the user-friendly interface and tactile keyboard that has been a standard for Sidekick phones.

Do multiple conversations at the same time and switch messaging with a simple tap of a button. Building on previous success with earlier models, the Sidekick still boasts easy access and minimal clutter. Sending and receiving email is a breeze with its superb keyboard and navigation buttons.

Multi-media controls is quirky, the volume control and power bottom is smaller than previous models. Getting to the buttons is trickery and needs a little finesse. There are a lot of noticeable improvements, the camera has been upgraded and a flash function raises the picture quality a notch higher. A standard 64 MB memory card comes with the package and memory is expandable to a whopping 8 GIG of storage space.

Other technical advancements have certainly improved the phones performance. EDGE technology is now standard with the phone. The phone comes with an email connection and receiving your mail comes automatic with the phone. The Sidekick holds 2000 contacts with an option for 5 personal numbers together with email and other caller identification. Pair your contact with an image for faster and a more personalized touch.

Surf and browse your favorite sites and watch as the page loads quickly at your fingertips. A 3G option has certainly given the phone an extra touch for the online social niche.
