For a phone featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, the Motorola i465 is surprisingly light. Phone weighs a mere 3.4 ounces and comes in red with clean lines. The phone is solid to the touch and fits comfortably in your hands. Design comes with a textured back panel for better grip and feel. Phone built is rugged, designed to operate even after exposure to shock, dust, solar radiation and extreme weather conditions.

Phone??™s screen comes at 1.7 inches and displays 64,000 colors. Image and video quality is average and run of the mill. Designed for heavy text messages and communications, the Motorola i465 displays clear text messages.

Text messaging is simple with the well spaced keys. The phone also provides excellent feedback during input and gave accurate touches. The Motorola Clutch i465??™s full QWERTY keyboard is small compared to other similar equipped phones. The phone however features tactile and raised keys for better interface. Navigation comes with a circular toggle which can also double as a shortcut for frequently used applications. Phone shooter comes with a VGA camera that captures images at 5 different resolutions. VGA cameras are a bit old in the tooth and for people looking to capture a great deal of images this should come as a disappointment. Images and photos appeared blurry and colors did not show enough contrast. The Motorola Clutch i465??™s camera also doubles as a camcorder but videos like photos were muddy.

Some extent of personalization and customization was available. Wallpapers, clocks and themes could be changed for that personal touch. Games are also available with the phone supporting java applications.

The Motorola Clutch is not available for service in some mobile providers. The phone is a dual band phone and call quality was good. Phone speakers gave excellent audio quality. Voices were loud and crisp. Noises were not observed at either end during calls. Talk-time was rated at 4 hours and battery life a short 5 days.
