Not only is it rude, but it’s so not cool and definitely not cute. You may think that it looks very corporate and highlights your cheekbones-but you’re wrong. Take it out. And if you have one with a long cord that clips into your cell phone? If you use it that much, upgrade to Bluetooth. The wire is over.

Always Hot. Observing the crucial rules of etiquette. Don’t be the one left in the dark, ok? Be fashionable and fabulous without being disrespectful.

Not Hot. Look, I love shiny objects as much as the next person, but bedazzling your phone with glittery pink rhinestones, stickers, charms, or anything that jingles, tinkles, or twinkles. Pass it up. Cell phones are sexy enough on their own, and they run such a wide gamut that you can find one that suits your personality-even if you lean toward pink and shiny.
