TMobile offers the Hotspot program (adorning the windows of Starbucks nationwide, not to mention Borders and others) in which you get phenomenal connection speeds, a secure network, and reliable connection for all of your WiFi needs??"even abroad, as they have over 37,000 HotSpot locations internationally. As TMobile is a huge international company (they are a major provider in Europe and elsewhere) it comes as no surprise that they also offer by far the cheapest international calling rates. Their innovative FlexPay program, in which you can select any regular plan as a no-contract, no-deposit, prepaid plan (and then just pay full retail value of the selected handset) that requires no credit check, is a cut above the rest??"while still incorporating basic, value prepay plans with cheaper and discounted handsets. They also offer the myFaves program, in which in any given calendar month you can select five people as your ???faves???, your most frequent calls, and calls placed to and from that number are free. Doesn??™t matter the network. And you can get an handset upgrade 11 months after a one year contract is signed, and 22 months for a two year. Which means you??™re cooler, faster. They also have the exclusive on the T-Mobile Sidekick, a cult fave with a full keyboard and flip screen.

Why You Won??™t: As far as their cellular service goes, they do show quite a few bare spots in the Northeast, which is virtually a blanket area with most other companies. They also have blanks on the Western coast, but surprisingly they have better Midwestern coverage than most. Also, despite the novelty of the myFaves plans, they don??™t offer any intranetwork free calling, which several other major networks provide. Despite registering a few bashes online, their customer service has a strong reputation for being some of the best the industry has to offer.
